Brixton has been our muse, canvas and instrument for culturally-rich placemaking. Working with the community, we found the common ground between interested parties to make the area’s ever-evolving landscape a stronger reflection of its people and culture.
But we believe cultural community is more important than a pop-up week in September, resilience too crucial to be concentrated simply in SW9, so in 2018 we set up the Brixton Project to sow our creative seeds in more widely in Brixton and way beyond.
As individuals we are makers, designers, strategists and art geeks; Brixtonians, Brixtopians and people here for the duration. Together, we hope to be greater than the sum of our parts.
We spark that creative vitality in communities that makes places people love.
